In-Class Annotation, Poetry + Technology

Today in class we began working with a poetry prompt from a previous AP English Literature examination. Our objectives include becoming comfortable with a prompt and accessing the selected literature; practicing our annotation skills while conducting a close reading analysis; writing our analysis.

The photo above is a snapshot of today’s work, our first view of King Henry’s soliloquy from Henry IV, Part II. Students accessed the literature with our class SmartBoard, writing one piece of their findings thus far. At the end of class, I took the photo to document our progress.

On Monday, we will delve deeper!
